Thanksgivukkah is almost here given to the convergence of the American holiday of Thanksgiving and the first day of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah on Thursday, November 28, 2013. The convergence jump-starts the holiday season early for millions of American Jews. This year those of the Jewish faith will celebrate not one but two holidays on the same exact day.
Do not be surprised to find a new side dish on the Thanksgiving dinner table, Latkes. Given the number of days between Hanukkah and Christmas this year the pop culture holiday known as Black Friday will continue for almost 4 weeks until both holidays have come to end and we look to New Year’s Eve.To help with your Hanukkkah shopping this year I have found a few gifts I thought would be a nice addition to the Holiday of Lights.
